Hi! I’m Carolina,

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, grew up in California, and now call Utrecht home. I’m an English teacher, early-years educator, storyteller, and someone who genuinely loves seeing children and grown-ups discover what they can do with language.

I created English with Care because I believe English is best learned when little ones and big ones are actually using it. Singing, making things, telling stories, playing, exploring the park, talking about their favourite things, or proudly explaining their latest idea. Sometimes you forget you’re even learning.

I work with children from 1 to 12, through Circle Time, personalised In-home English Coaching, and my After-School Creative Atelier, where children create, imagine, experiment, and have fun, all in English.

I also work with grown-ups through Business English. After 15+ years in the international corporate world, I know that knowing English and feeling confident using it at work are two different things. I help with meetings, interviews, presentations, emails, and simply finding the right words.

My teaching style is warm, creative, flexible, and very human. I like to get to know the person I’m working with and build our sessions around their interests, personality, goals, and needs.

Because English isn’t just something you learn. It’s something you use to connect, create, and be yourself. 💛
